OVERVIEW - Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all internal aspects of the Consumer Products Group (CPG) and Janitorial Supply (Jan / San) business. this coordination will take place with the field Regional Sales Managers and will transcend departmental boundaries, including Operations, Procurement, Product Management, Marketing and , Customer Service.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: 

  • Resolve sales related issures within and outside department and escalate if required.
  • Coordinate department activities and projects to meet customer requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure that sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads & prospects. 
  • Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats. 
  • Suggest improvements that cna be made to increase revenue opportunities. 
  • Attend industry conferences to network and develop industry expertise. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience reporting to senior management team.
  • Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including email, MS word, Excell, PowerPoint.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or college diploma in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of lamps (light bulbs) is considered to be a benefit.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The position will require 50% travel initially and the decrease to 10% to 15% once familiarity with account base has been established.
